Fike recently released the latest addition to the Axius SC line of sanitary rupture discs (bursting discs). The 1” Axius SC has a burst pressure range of 25 psig (1.72 BARG) to 275 psig (18.96 BARG), a standard lead time of 5 days, and is available in 316/316L stainless steel only. (Other burst pressures may be available; consult the factory for additional information).

The 1” Axius SC offers the same value-added features of the other Axius SC rupture disc family, including:

• Process side is free of indentions or crevices that may trap process media or contaminants
• Superior cycling capabilities
• Designed specifically for the stringent sanitary/aseptic requirements of the biotech, pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries.

An additional feature of the 1” Axius SC, is a patent pending ring that allows for improved gasket sealing and better overall disc performance. The 1” is also designed to fit directly between standard ASME BPE ferrules, with no special holder or hardware required. Convenience, flexibility and performance -- all in a small, 1” rupture disc.

The 1” Axius SC is ASME, CE, and 3-A certified.
