Fike Small Space Suppression
Small obscured fires within CNC machines and electrical cabinets may go undetected until significant damage has occurred. Fike’s Small Space Suppression System ensures the detection and suppression of these potentially devastating fires at their source.
Electrical Cabinet & CNC Machine Fire Protection
The Fike Small Space Suppression System uses a flexible heat-reactive tube which is strategically routed through small applications. The tube is pressurized with nitrogen to activate the connected cylinder of 3M™ Novec™ Fire Protection Fluid to quickly and reliably suppress the fire.
1. A fire melts a hole in the tubing, which is pressurized with nitrogen.
2. Upon release of nitrogen pressure, the valve on the agent container opens.
3. In the direct configuration (electrical cabinets), 3M™ Novec™ Fire Protection Fluid is released directly from the hole in the tubing and directly onto the fire. In the indirect configuration, the agent is released from UL-listed nozzles and into the protected space.
How Is Fike Small Space Suppression Different From The Competition?
When you call, a trained and experienced support staff picks up the phone to answer any of your questions.
Strong inventory and multiple warehouses ensure readily available product and responsive delivery.
Available in 1kg, 2kg, 4kg, 6kg, 9kg and 18kg cylinders to provide the most cost-effective size for your unique application.
UL-listed nozzles ensure breakup of agent into small droplets which vaporize to overwhelm the fire; otherwise, agent is delivered in an ineffective stream.
State-of-the-art manufacturing ensures consistent tubing wall thickness to prevent leak points.
Designed specifically for Fike Small Space Suppression, the ball valve is integrated into a stainless steel body to reliably deliver agent into the tubing network and prevent leaks.
