Fike has opened a new hands-on training facility in Mexico with our long-term partner Integral Energy S.A. de C.V.. Adam Batz, Executive Vice President of Fike Services, and Scott Sullivan, National Sales Manager, visited Integral Energy’s headquarters to celebrate the grand opening after working closely for months on the project.

This new facility is a step closer to our goal of having accessible service training around the world. Now, teams across Latin America have access to a high-level training experience closer to home. This facility will eliminate the previous challenge of long travel delays which often caused a slowed certification process.

The New Facility

The demand for explosion and fire protection is constantly high, and the demand for reliable service training grows with it. Joaquin Ruben Miranda, Integral Energy's chief operations officer, came to Fike wanting to fix the issue of unaccessible service training in Latin America. Together, we built a training room and facility equipped with a mock dust collector, HRD units, and mounted panels. This is all real equipment that trainees will be installing, removing, and servicing in the field. Joaquin says "I refer to this as a physical manifestation of our partnership with Fike because we really went all in on all of it, not just EP, but also fire and pressure relief." Integral Energy and Fike plan to continue growing the training facility as new solutions and equipment are developed.

"We love the fact that we really are present with Fike across all their product lines. And being able to finally show both our clients, users, and other reps to actually give them a chance to have hands-on experience is massive." says Joaquin.

What does this mean for the future?

“We can only sell what we can service, and we can only service what we train people to service,” Adam explains. This mindset has shaped Adam’s vision for developing a globally interactive training process. Fike knows this new space is not only focused on skill-building but also a push toward expanding our global training network.

The next big step Adam sees for Fike is launching similar facilities in Dubai and Kuala Lumpur, also equipped with physical units and new training materials. He hopes these locations will support a “train-the-trainer” model, certifying technicians who can then teach and certify others in their regions.

“The thing we hear most from our customers is, ‘You pick up the phone and someone shows up,’” Adam says. Fike’s level of support is what sets us apart. Together with our partner, Integral Energy, Fike is ensuring that our service always stays focused on our goal to keep people safe around the world.
